Salmon Yee Sang

“Loh Hei” or toss to the year of the Horse with a myriad of fresh “Yee Sang” selection is available too. Priced at RM38++ per portion onwards, come on over with your friends and family to enjoy our offerings such as the famous Salmon Yee Sang, Seaweed and Jelly Fish Yee Sang or if you like, savour our Abalone Yee Sang! All of these available from the 1st to the 14th of February for dine-in or even takeaway which is perfect for gifts!

On that day during my tasting I got to chopstick-ing into Ti Chen’s Salmon Yee Sang which was truly delicious. I do like thick cut of salmon being plunched onto the huge serving plate that came with a lot of readily to be eaten ingredients. The sweet fruity sauce paired so well with the Yee Sang and I couldn’t help having a few serving myself.

Homemade Roasted Pei Pa Duck

The feasting does end there! Injecting local flavours with a modern Cantonese twist, Chef Lai always sees to his patron’s needs which motivates him to create new items on the menu and all of these are made right from his kitchen! These three decadent set menus are the Auspicious Good Luck Set Menu which is worth RM988++ per table of 10 persons, the Auspicious Good Fortune Set Menu which is worth RM1,288++ per table of 10 persons and lastly, the Auspicious Good Health Set Menu worth RM1,688++ per table of 10 persons.

Master Chef Lai Chong Seng’s Homemade Roasted Pei Pa Duck was truly crisp on the outside and the meat texture was softly done and fully moist, very likeable. I couldn’t stop of not having it. Frankly I can have half of the duckling all by myself. Yes it was really good and the accompanied Char Siew sauce was intensely gourgeous.

Steamed River Patin Fish with Homemade Green Ginger Sauce

I always try to avoid ordering patin fish due to its mauddy smell but at Ti Chen it was brilliantly executed. The muddy taste was not detected and brilliantly steamed. The steamed patin fish was cleverly coated with minced ginger and cilantro that came with bursting aroma and flavour. I just loved it.
